He is a consummate professional, very safety-oriented, and knows the Wasatch like the back of his hand. • I have been backcountry ski touring in the Wasatch with Eric roughly ten times over the past several years. He is a consummate professional and can accommodate any group in any situation. We've had large groups or small. Boarders and/or skiers. Backcountry beginners and/or experts. Strong physical condition or not. No matter what the group or conditions, you'll never have a bad day with Eric. He is extremely safe, and consistently finds the BEST SNOW POSSIBLE. Even after many years of backcountry experience, I continue to learn something new every time I tour with Eric. His experience and personal network also allow him to plan the best itinerary, usually avoiding wind, crust, crud and crowds.
