Necessary Gear
Winter weather in the Wasatch can turn on a dime. Therefore, we strongly recommend bringing these essential items to make your adventure safe and enjoyable:
Provided
- Harness (if needed)
- Helmet (if needed)
Bring
- Snowboard with duckfoot stance of 0-15 degrees (both bindings same distance from tip to tail). Twin tips are preferable, but any board will work
- Alpine skis with proper binding adjustment
- Poles
- Telemark skis
- Prepare to go riding or skiing for the day. You'll work harder than a day on the mountain, so layer accordingly
- Wicking layers
- Shell
- Fleece
- Down jacket
- Ski pants - best with hi back or bibs
- Goggles
- Sunglasses
- Neck gaiter
- Gloves - 2 pr
- Skins or snowshoes - optional, but will help for certain abilities/conditions
- Food
- Water
- Thermos
